Work on your game over the Summer to prep for the next year. We are offering a Skating Analysis, Shooting and/or F/D Clinics.
about the program
The Skating Analysis will allow for a personal breakdown of each players stride. Video will be taken and shown via email on what they can improve upon as well as certain on ice/off ice exercises to help improve skating stride. It will be run in a group of 12. Each player will get 10 mins of stride analysis time where they will be in a group of 3 and they will be working with Kevin at one end while Paul works on powerskating and edgework with the other 9 on the opposite end.
Forward/Defence Clinic will work on positional specific skills and drills to help them excel in their positions. Forwards will work on Down low plays, entry plays, 1 on 1 tactics for example. D will work on picking up pucks off the boards. Breakout passes. Using the net and how to walk the blue line for example.
The Shooting Clinic will go over each shot and break down the mechanics of the wrist/snap shot and slap shot. Then we will work on each shot from different areas on the ice to give them an understanding of when and how to use the shots we worked on.
