Work on your game over the Summer to prep for the next year. We are offering a Skating Analysis, Shooting and/or F/D Clinics.
about the program
The Skating Analysis will go over each players skating stride. They will be video'd and broken down to help them make their stride as efficient as possible. Each player will be given their video analysis after the session along with some off ice drills to improve stride and strength. Kevin will have 4 players at a time at one end for half the session. At the other end they will be working on powerskating with Paul where we will work on edge-work and stride. We will put them through some skating and edge-work drills to help them become efficient skaters and in turn faster skaters.
Forward/Defence Clinic will work on positional specific skills and drills to help them excel in their positions. Forwards will work on Down low plays, entry plays, 1 on 1 tactics for example. D will work on picking up pucks off the boards. Breakout passes. Using the net and how to walk the blue line for example.
The Shooting Clinic will go over each shot and break down the mechanics of the wrist/snap shot and slap shot. Then we will work on each shot from different areas on the ice to give them an understanding of when and how to use the shots we worked on.
